Here is Ian's version of Loco Moco -- not the the sloppiest, gooiest dish most favored by local people -- at "restaurants" it comes slathered in gravy, and is
comprised of: rice (probably two scoops), hamburger and egg (usually sunnyside up). One of our friends recently ordered with an extra scoop rice (white) and an extra egg.
Ian will serve you Loco Moco, but with the gravy on the side, and properly chopped green onions for presentation. And his hamburger is a secret recipe too. Two eggs because it looks better.
When you come to Hawaii, be sure to eat Loco Moco.
