No kidding! This incredibly, compellingly weird tree is called a Cannon Ball Tree because of the large fruit it bears which look remarkably (no, exactly) like brown cannon balls.
It also has some lovely flowers, and a strange,hairy-looking trunk. It's at Foster Botannical Gardens in downtown Honolulu, and next to it there is a sign, which warns: "watch out for falling cannon balls."
