Monkey See. Monkey Do.

I don't know if this was one of your Mother's favorite reminder phrases, but it was certainly one of my Mother's. That along with "if everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?," "I don't care what Mrs. so-and-so lets her kid do..." and
"YOU are not everybody else."
