Still Summer

It has been a hot, still summer here in Hawai`i and all over the mainland.

Our lotions are as soothing and light as ever, and perfect to use in still-warm weather.

In June, Sam and Michele arrived to work at Lanikai Bath and Body and have an all around good time on O`ahu. They folded t-shirts, wrapped soaps, handed out samples at the beach and walked the main streets to hand out fliers.

This Dog Can Surf!

The third annual Da Kina Canine festival was held in Kailua on Sunday, September 5th.

There were lots of dogs and dog people, and Shorebreak Shave Ice was there with special chicken flavored doggie shave ices. At $2.00 -- such a bargain -- they were
very popular with owners and their dogs,all of whom were suffering with the heat.

Shorebreak ran out of ice an hour and a half into the festival, and the dog pictured here was smart enough not to come. Thanks to Cocojor for the shot of the cool dog.
